Welcome the Stranger combines the talents of sacred and secular artists from Muslim and Sikh traditions in a musical response to hate crimes.Featuring the passionate vocals of Kiran Ahluwalia (India) and inspired songwriting of Souad Massi (Algeria), combined with traditional Sikh temple singers Bhal Kabul Singh and the colorful whirling Sufi dancers Abdul Gheit Dance (Egypt), this eclectic celebration illuminates a diverse world of artistic freedom, creativity, and tolerance.Cost: Tickets range from $25-$45.
