#  Hollywood Gives Narrow View of Buddhism

On June 17, 2001, *The San Francisco Chronicle* published an article that pointed out that most Hollywood movies about Buddhism "are about one relativelyminor sect," Tibetan Buddhism. "How about we see some other movies with another take on the teachings andculture of Buddhism?" The writer reviewed several films that offer alternative takes on Buddhism.
