 

#  Muslim American Society Opens Freedom Foundation Chapter in North Carolina

WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Muslim AmericanSociety (MAS) announced the opening of its North Carolina chapter of theMuslim American Society Freedom Foundation (MAS Freedom). MAS is acharitable, religious, social, cultural, and educational non-profitorganization. It is America's largest grassroots organization, with over 55chapters in 35 states.  
  
The Muslim American Society Freedom Foundation is the civic,educational, and advocacy component of MAS. MAS Freedom's goal is to buildan integrated empowerment process for the American Muslim community throughcivic education and participation, community outreach, and coalitionbuilding that forges positive relationships with other institutions outsideof the Muslim community that are dedicated to social justice and theprotection of the civil rights and liberties of all Americans.
