#  US Congressman Honda to Take up Sikh Turban Issue with France

US Congressman Mike Honda has assured the Sikh community in the United States that he would take up the issue of ban on turbans with the French Government.  
  
Talking to ANI, Honda said that the decision to ban the wearing of turbans in schools imposed by the French Government was undemocratic.  
  
He said that the wearing a turban was one of the five religious symbols of the Sikh Community. The French system had commonality with the US democratic practices and he would make an effort to resolve the issue.
