DESCRIPTION:<a href="http://pluralism.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Cristo_Rey_2.26.15.png" rel="attachment wp-att-52412"><img class="alignleft wp-image-52412" src="http://pluralism.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Cristo_Rey_2.26.15.png" alt="Cristo_Rey_2.26.15" width="150" height="147"></a>This after school program at Cristo Rey Boston High School featured two short films, <em>American Made</em> (2003) and <em>Dastaar: Defending Sikh Identity</em> (2005), and a discussion about Sikhism in America and the experiences of visible religious minorities post-9/11. This event was open to students at Cristo Rey Boston High School and discussion was led by Pluralism Project Assistant Director Whittney Barth with Halah Ahmad, a former Pluralism Project research intern from Milwaukee, WI, as a guest speaker.This event was part of the series entitled "Religion Refocused," which will utilize documentary and narrative films to explore the lived experiences of religious minority communities and promote greater understanding. The  program ws funded in part by Mass Humanities, which receives support from the Massachusetts Cultural Council and is an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
