SUMMARY:Being Muslim in America: An Honest Conversation
DESCRIPTION:We know and understand each other best by truly listening to each other's stories. Listen to a diverse panel of area Muslims reflect on what it means to them to be Muslim. What do they want us to know about their lives of faith? First we'll set these stories in the context of Islam in American history and present times. And then, in small-group conversations, all of us, Muslim and non, will get to share our own stories of living our faiths as who we are. All are welcome—join us! This event is hosted by Hartford Seminary, CCIU - CT Council for Interreligious Understanding, and St. Patrick-St. Anthony Church.
